Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-07-31
This policy explains what personal data Discoverable collects, why, and the rights you have over it. Discoverable is operated by Be Discoverable Ltd. We collect the minimum needed to run the service, we never sell your data, and we tell you plainly which third parties process it.
Who we are
Discoverable is a service of Be Discoverable Ltd (company number 17383714), registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, email hello@bediscoverable.ai.
What we collect
Check inputs: the domain and prompts you enter for an AI visibility check. Account data: your email address, and any name or company you choose to add, collected when you sign in. Run history: the reports we generate and the domains you track, so you can return to them and see change over time. Billing data: when you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment; we store your Stripe customer reference and plan, never your card number. Technical data: aggregate, cookieless analytics (such as page views) and the strictly-necessary cookie that keeps you signed in.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
To provide the service you ask for and manage your account (performance of a contract); to operate, secure, debug and improve the service (our legitimate interests); to take payment and keep tax records (contract and legal obligation); and to reply when you contact us (legitimate interests). We do not sell personal data and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Third parties that process your data
To run the service we share data with a small set of subprocessors, each bound by data-protection terms: Anthropic (Claude) performs the AI analysis with live web search; Supabase hosts our database and authentication (EU region); Vercel provides hosting and privacy-first, cookieless analytics; Stripe processes subscription payments. Where data is processed outside the UK/EEA (for example by Anthropic in the US), that transfer is covered by UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and run history while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymise it. Check results may be cached to speed up and stabilise repeat checks. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, export, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data. Email hello@bediscoverable.ai and we will action requests promptly. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
Cookies and similar technologies
We set two first-party cookies: a Supabase session cookie that keeps you signed in (strictly necessary, set only when you sign in, cleared when your session ends) and disc_currency, a small preference cookie that remembers your checkout currency for one year. Payment pages are hosted by Stripe on stripe.com, where Stripe sets its own cookies under its own policy. To understand aggregate usage we use Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and counts visits using a request hash that Vercel discards within 24 hours; it cannot identify you and we use it only for statistics about our own service. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why you see no consent banner. If you would rather not be counted at all, use the analytics switch at the bottom of this page.
