How the check works
We read your site and write three brand-blind buyer questions for your category, the kind a prospect types when they do not yet know your name. Each is put to ChatGPT’s public interface in a fresh, logged-out session at a UK or US location. For each answer we record whether your brand was named and which pages were cited. Nothing is retried because the answer was unwelcome; a timeout is shown as no reading, never as not named.

Is this the real ChatGPT?
Yes. The three questions are put to ChatGPT's public web interface in a logged-out session, the way a buyer without an account sees it, not to an API with different defaults.
Why only three questions?
Three real answers are a sample that shows how ChatGPT talks about your category and whether you appear. A visibility score needs a fixed set of buyer questions run every week; that is what the tracker does.
Does it show ChatGPT's full answer?
No. It shows whether each answer named you, one sentence where it did, and the pages ChatGPT cited. We do not republish scraped answers.
What happens if it says the checker is busy?
